Rides We Enjoy Regularly

Here are some popular rides we enjoy regularly.  Navigate to the ride you would like to check out by scrolling to bottom of page for links to each ride page, or click the "Next Page" link.

No matter what time of year (provided the road is not slippery) these rides never seem to get old, graced with the never-ending beauty of Mother Nature in Colorado.

At the Ride-In there will be 3 kinds of rides:

  • Leader-Guided Rides (the first 3 rides below [Estes Park Loop, Peak-to-Peak Figure 8 and Masonville Loop] will be available as guided rides on both days).
  • GPX (file) Rides (any of linked pages below — download .GPX file from applicable page).
  • Self-Guided Rides (use your imagination and/or use the images below [from On the Fly, April Issue] to formulate your own ideas).  Click each image for a larger view.

Entry Into Rocky Mountain National Park

Rocky Mountain National Park is piloting a program to help make it possible for everyone to find parking where and when they need it.  If you intend to go into Rocky Mountain National Park, please see the Rocky Mountain National Park Entry Info page below.  In short, you will need a Timed-Entry pass.

Normal Park Access Only
9am to 2pm
Normal Park Access + Bear Lake Road

That page has a link, mobile phone app, as well as phone numbers to book timed-entry permits.  (Hint:  The RMNP-to-Walden ride can be run clockwise early to get in before 9am, or counter-clockwise and timed to enter the west gate after 2pm.)

Happy trails!
